Service Description
My approach to personal training is slightly different to many other trainers out there. I truly believe that remaining healthy and active for life is far more important than any short-term fitness or weight-loss fix, and the secret to staying healthy and active long-term is to find your own version of healthy. When it comes to health and fitness, there is no ‘one size fits all’ model. What works for one person, won’t necessarily work for another. We all have unique bodies, brains, life demands, schedules and preferences, and these things will fluctuate and develop over time. So, whilst it is true that eating well, moving regularly and taking care of your physical and mental wellbeing are important for everyone, what these things actually look like will be different for each individual. My goal is to help as many people as possible to discover what this looks like for them: to find their own version of healthy. I have years of personal and professional experience in teaching dance, weight training, interval training, sports-inspired training, flexibility training, core work, exercise to music, circuits, and even running around a field like a lunatic! And if we discover that the movement that makes you feel most alive isn’t within my skill set, I will help you to find resources, classes or another professional who can help.
